A fourth man has been arrested in connection with an attack in Dublin overnight.

Two men were injured in the incident in Temple Bar at round 8.45pm.

One man in his 20s is in a critical condition with head injuries.

Four men have now been arrested in connection with the attack, and gardaí are appealing to witnesses who may have filmed it on their phone to come forward.

Meanwhile a young man is in hospital after two teenagers were set upon by youths on the North Strand Road overnight.

The incident happened at around 4.30am and no arrests have so far been made.

A passing ambulance attended the scene.
