Manchester City may now have the advantage in the Premier League title race, but they are set to be hit hard by UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations.
City are set to be fined €60 million, and will see their Champions League squad size reduced from 25 players to 21.
UEFA's Club Financial Control Body have deemed that City's sponsorship deal with Etihad is not a valid means to balance their books.
