A man has died following a crash in Co Tipperary.
The two-car collision happened at Tullaskeagh, Roscrea yesterday evening at about 7.30pm.
A 37-year-old passenger of one of the vehicles was seriously injured and taken to University Hospital Limerick where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car and the three occupants of the second car were also taken to hospital with injuries that gardaí say are non-serious.
A forensic examination of the scene will take place this afternoon. A post-mortem will also be arranged.
The Westbound carriageway of the R445 is currently closed at the Knock Road junction to allow for the forensic examination.
