Bosnians in Ireland have held a commemoration in Dublin today to mark 20 years since the massacre in Srebrenica.
They gathered in front of Government Buildings to remember more than 8,000 Bosnian men and boys who were killed by Serbian force led by Ratko Mladic between 11th and 13th July 1995.
The UN Secretary General described it as the single worst atrocity on European soil since the Second World War.
Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan has called it one of the most appalling atrocities to take place in Europe, and says any attempts to minimise or deny the genocide that took place should be condemned.
The massacre has been recognised as genocide by the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
Those who died will be remembered in Srebrenica on the 11th of July, where Ireland will be represented by Ambassador Pat Kelly.
