Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt has named five uncapped players in his 37-man squad for the upcoming Guinness Series.

Connacht's Darragh Leader and Nathan White, Ulster's Jared Payne, Munster's Dave Foley and Leinster's Dominic Ryan are included in the panel to face South Africa, Georgia and Australia next month.

Injuries mean the likes of Sean O'Brien, Andrew Trimble, Dave Kearney, Keith Earls and Cian Healy are not included.

Racing Metro fly-half Jonny Sexton is in the squad after making his return from a broken jaw at the weekend.

Ulster's Paddy Jackson is not included.
