Gardai had to be called to a hotel in Co Kerry last night after a large fight broke out at a wedding in Ballybunion.

Shortly after midnight fighting broke out involving a group of up to 40 people.

After hotel management contacted gardai, a large number of officers from Listowel attended the scene where they came across a group of 20 people fighting outside and approximately 20 more fighting inside.

Gardai spent time breaking up the dispute and while no arrests were made, investigations are ongoing.
