The Garda Commissioner has admitted the force is 20 years behind where it should be, particularly when it comes to technology.

Noirín O’Sullivan has addressed the Association of Garda Superintendents, where she received a warm welcome.

Commissioner O’Sullivan says they were strapped before the recession, and devastated by cuts, and says they’ve got their work cut out in recovering.
