The Peter McVerry Trust will be holding its annual Christmas carol concert in St Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin tonight.
More than 1,000 people are expected to attend - with all funds raised going towards tackling homelessness and drug misuse.
It follows a week of discussions involving government representatives, charity organisations and members of NAMA aimed at solving the growing crisis.
On Monday night, rough sleeper Jonathan Corrie was found dead just metres from the Dail sparking intense debate and public outcry.
CEO of the Peter McVerry Trust, Pat Doyle, says the extra beds being made available following these meetings will go a long way in helping those most vulnerable at Christmas.
And he says tickets for tonight's concert are still available.
