A dossier sent to the FA as part of an investigation into transfers at Cardiff could ruin Malky Mackay's chances of ever managing again.
The Scot had been linked with the vacant position at Crystal Palace but the Londoners have cooled their interest after it emerged the FA were investigating Mackay and his former Head of Recruitment at Cardiff Iain Moody.
Mackay was sacked by Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan in December 2013 and was publicly critical of the club's former manager:
