Following a meeting with the Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson, Mairia Cahill has called for additional emergency sources for sexual abuse victims in Northern Ireland.

Ms Cahill claims she had to face her alleged abuser in a republican-style court, and has made a series of allegations about how her case was dealt with by Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams, which he has denied.

It is believed there may be more women who allege they suffered sexual abuse and were subjected to IRA investigations.
