Plans to construct an Irish built satellite will be unveiled at an event in Wicklow tonight.
The name and mission of the satellite will be revealed at an Astronomy Ireland event tonight in Roundwood, County Wicklow - the highest village in Ireland.
The project came about after the Russian Space Agency offered Ireland a free launch on one of their commercial rockets, worth millions of euro.

David Moore of Astronomy Ireland says the announcement will be made at a stargazing party:
