Two bombs have exploded in central Baghdad, killing at least 28 people.

Emergency services in the Iraqi capital say 54 others were wounded.

The blasts targeted a busy market in the Sinak neighborhood during the morning rush, Reuters reports.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

Islamic State militants have launched near-daily attacks in the capital in recent months.
