Siptu members working in the National Ambulance Service centre in Dublin have voted overwhelmingly in favour of industrial action in a dispute over staffing levels and the filling of vacancies.
In a statement this evening, Siptu organiser John McCamley said 'members are calling on management to fulfill its obligations under the WRC proposals'.
He went on to say that the present system of recruiting staff 'is not fit for purpose' and that if the issues are not solved they will affect 'the operation of the emergency control centre'.
