It says the positions will be rolled out over the next 18 months at its headquarters in Blackrock.

The jobs will treble the company's workforce.

Chief executive John Moore told Newstalk Business Breakfast what type of people they are looking for.

"We are particularly looking for programmers, which are difficult to get in this country - we just don't produce them, it's not that the ones that are out there aren't very good. We are looking for that, we're looking for medical writers, we're looking for 3D artists and we're looking for administration people also."
