I acknowledge their commitment to the North West in particular and wish them every success in the future.”

Chief Executive of the company, Patrick Rowland, said their investment will go towards "a complete refit of our Blanchardstown, Sligo and Arklow stores, the opening of a new store in St Stephen’s Green, the shop fronts of all stores and the development of a new online platform."

Meanwhile Irish company Smarter Surfaces is creating 29 jobs, bringing total jobs at the company to 44.
