A five year old boy was sent a bill of £15.95 for a birthday party no show by his school friend's mother. Is this crazy or can you understand the mum's point of view? Have kids birthday parties got out of hand and way too expensive, I asked the people on the streets of Dublin.
There have even been threats of legal action. Mother Julie Lawrence thinks five year old Alex's no show left her short changed and his parents failed to say he couldn't make it. Alex's father Derek has been threatened with the small claims court if he refuses to pay. Alex's parents originally said he would attend the party at a dry ski slope in Devon. But then realised their son was due to spend time with his grandparents.
