TODAY

Today will be rather cloudy and misty to start and there will be a little patchy drizzle at times.

The best of any sunshine in the morning will be in Munster. The sunnier weather will spread to the rest of the country during the afternoon.

Afternoon temperatures will range to 18C to 21C, the best where long spells of sunshine develop, and it will be cooler along coastal areas.

Winds will be light to moderate from a southwest direction, becoming light variable later.

TONIGHT

Tonight will be largely dry and clear with light variable winds becoming light to moderate south-westerly later.

Temperatures will fall to no lower than 8C to 11C.
