There are both free and ticketed events taking place

When you consider the themes of biodiversity and sustainability, arts and culture, social justice, peace, hospitality and education, it is incredible to think how one woman championed all of this and more over 1,500 years ago in Ireland.

Brigid 1500 has been celebrating the legacy of St Brigid for the past few weeks and the initiative will run until St Brigid’s day.

Impactful events are set to take place across Kildare over the coming weeks, with something happening to suit all ages.

Riverdance is set to be a featured act at the family event at the scenic Curragh Racecourse on February 3rd.
