A grieving mother has spoken of her determination to wait for information that could shed light on the possible reasons behind her son’s death by suicide.

Darren Hughes Gibson died in august 2012 and at his inquest it was revealed that Facebook could take six to nine months to supply information to Gardai investigating claims that Darren may have been bullied online.

Darren’s mother Elaine said she would wait up to six years in order to get that information but what obligation is there on Facebook to supply that data?

Pat was joined this morning by barrister with specialism in IT and internet law, Fergal Crehan
