Thousands of Irish people will attend this weekend’s Job Expo, as they seek advice on emigration and finding work in the United States. For many the choice to leave is made tougher by their inability to obtain a visa and the prospect of moving to the US and potentially unable to return for many, many years.

Caro Kinsella is an immigration attorney based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and originally from Limerick. She joined Pat on this morning’s show to explain the various options available to Irish people hoping to move to the US, while also explaining the current state of any potential immigration reform that might allow the illegal Irish to return home.
