It was a busy afternoon of action across the country in the GAA club scene, with a Corofin - Tuam Stars stalemate in Galway one of the picks of today's games.

All-Ireland club champions Corofin are still in the hunt for a record-equalling seventh Galway senior football title in-a-row.

Gary Sice pointed in stoppage time as their 0-15 leveled them with Tuam Stars on 2-9 at Tuam Stadium to ensure a replay.

Ulster kingpins Gaoth Dobhair drew 0-8 apiece with Naomh Conaill in the Donegal senior football decider at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey.

In Armagh, defending champions Crossmaglen Rangers saw off Ballymacnab 2-18 to 2-9.

Clontibret halted Scotstown's drive for five in the Monaghan football final, with a 1-14 to 0-11 win at St Tiernach's Park in Clones.

The Sligo final saw holders Tourlestrane comfortably see off Coolera-Strandhill by a 14-point margin - it finished 2-17 to 0-9.

For the seventh time since 2002 it was Moorefield against Sarsfields in the Kildare football decider.

It finished level on a scoreline of Moorefield 2-9 Sarsfields 0-15 at St Conleth's Park in Newbridge.

Newtown Blues won a third successive Louth title with a 2-9 to 1-9 win against Naomh Martin.

Magherafelt beat Glen in Derry by the narrowest of margins - 0-12 to 0-11.

St Joseph's Miltown-Malbay were held to a draw in the defence of their Clare football title against Kilmurry-Ibrickane - 0-9 apiece.

Ballinacourty denied Rathgormack their first Waterford senior football title in 20 years in their 2-6 to 1-6 win.

Tir Chonaill Gaels were victorious in the London senior football decider - a solitary point separating them and Fulham Irish - 1-11 to 1-10.

In the Ulster Club Football Championship, Antrim's Cargin were no match for Derrygonnelly of Fermanagh, losing by four points - 2-10 to 0-12.

2017 All-Ireland Club Hurling champions Cuala saw off Saint Brigid's in the Dublin Senior 'A' Hurling final.

Dublin football star Con O'Callaghan scored Cuala's only goal with the first score of the game - but was injured in the process and had to be replaced.

It finished Cula 1-18 St Brigid's 1-14.

Imokilly won their third Cork senior hurling title in-a-row with a 2-17 to 1-16 win over Glen Rovers.

Birr lost to old rivals Saint Rynagh's 0-16 to 1-12 in the Offaly decider.

Clonkill defended their Westmeath crown against Castletown Geoghegan. They were winners by 2-16 to 1-16.

Holders Mount Leinster Rangers lost by a point against Saint Mullins in Carlow by 2-17 to 1-19, with Kildalkey comfortably seeing off Kiltale in the Meath hurling decider by 1-17 to 0-11.

And Borris/Kilcotton lost out to Rathdowney/Errill in Laois by 0-17 to 1-9.
