Coming up this week, we’ll hear how Amazon’s AWS is giving back to the Tallaght community – and how it’s never too late to consider a career in tech.

Plus we’ll discuss the app that could replace Instagram, having received a glowing endorsement from actor Channing Tatum.

But first - last year Amazon Web Services, known as AWS partnered with Technological University Dublin for the first time to sponsor 20 students to enrol in the Data Centre Technician Training programme. This programme trains students through academic and practical means to become Data Centre Technicians.

The first group of students recently graduated and Jess got to meet a few of them, alongside the head of computing to TUD and Mike Beary of AWS…
