The Limerick Regeneration Programme started fourteen years ago with the aim of improving some of the most disadvantaged areas in the city. Moyross was one of the key targets, an area synonymous with crime and anti-social behaviour.
There have been improvements in Moyross over that time, but for many the regeneration has been too slow.
The Pat Kenny Show reporter Síofra Mulqueen went to Moyross and brought us this extended report. She hears from locals about the issues of homelessness, overcrowding and unemployment in the area.
