Obsession with college is an outdated school of thought. Data points to Ireland being obsessed with going to a university which can blind a school leaver to the wealth of other opportunities that exist as trainees, apprentices, or direct entry employees. To discuss this further Pat was joined on the show this morning by Conor Skehan, Lecturer at the School of Spatial Planning at the Technological University of Dublin, and Clare Austick, President of The Students’ Union of Ireland.
