Today marks the start of 'Bowel Cancer Awareness month'.

Joining Pat to discuss the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer is Dr Grainne O’Kane, Consultant Medical Oncologist, Trinity St. James’s Cancer Research Institute and also Deirdre Dee Fleming, a Stage 4 Bowel Cancer Survivor.

The Irish Cancer Society is urging anybody with persistent bowel cancer symptoms to speak to their GP immediately.
