Reporter Aideen Finnegan has been speaking to people on the streets of Dublin about their experiences of house / apartment sharing.

Tales of the unexpected include: bad bathrooms, snails in the house and a guy who got romantically involved with a woman just to move into her house -what could go wrong?

We also hear from a resident in Dublin's first coliving building. 50 residents live at 'Node' beside Fitzwilliam Square.

Their apartments are 25 metres-squared with private en-suite bedrooms, while flatmates share kitchens in groups of two and three.
