Around 17 asylum seekers moved into Racket Hall, a hotel in Roscrea, Co Tipperary. The garda public order unit visited yesterday afternoon when the international protection applicants of women and children arrived. There were skirmishes between protesters and gardaí, filmed on social media. Last night 200 people came out to add their support to the protesters in sub zero temperatures.
