For the past few weeks we’ve heard the stories of ancient Ireland, and the tales of the warrior Fionn. But, in the myth we heard today he’s certainly not the hero. Indeed it’s his betrothed Grainne who we’re much more interested. Dr. Kelly Fitzgerald from the School of Irish, Celtic Studies and Folklore in UCD joins me now to tell us all about the tale of Grainne & Diarmuid.
