Dublin City Council has fenced off Portobello Plaza.

They have asked people not to congregate there after what it described as “completely unacceptable” behaviour there in recent weeks.

The Council said this was due to anti-social behaviour and thousands gathering in the area in recent weeks.

Coilín O’Reilly is Director of City Recovery at Dublin City Council, and Peter Dooley is with the Dublin Renters Union.  They joined Kieran to discuss the merits of this move by the Council.
