Former Irish Olympian Sonia O’Sullivan wrote an article in The Irish Times today about why she thinks transgender athletes cannot be allowed compete in women’s sport.

The conversation gained traction after Lia Thomas, a transgender woman won the women’s 500-yard freestyle at the NCAA swimming championships in the USA.
