According to figures from the INMO healthcare workers have been subjected to more than 12 attacks a day in the last 15 months.

Nurses are now calling on a state watchdog to be given more powers to clamp down on violence towards them. INMO General Secretary Phil Ni Sheaghdha spoke to Anton about the abuse that is happening and the concerns she has for staff.
