The world’s number one tennis player will spend the weekend in an Australian detention centre as the debacle over his visa rolls on.

Novak Djokovic was granted an exemption to the vaccination rule to play in the Australian Open, but the Border Force denied his entry at the airport.

He’ll appeal the case in court on Monday, but he’ll be alone in a hotel room until then.
