Earlier today an event was attended by around 100 high-level officials from the Garda Siochana, Department of Justice other police staff associations and stakeholders. Part of the discussion centered around  the Future of Policing in Ireland implementation plan, for radical reform of not just An Garda Siochana but the entirety of policing. 

Linda Duxbury  Professor of Business at Carleton University, Ottawa who specialises in police- force transformation and from a domestic perspective John Jacob General Secretary of the  Association of Garda Sergeants & Inspectors joined Ivan on this evenings show to discuss the future of policing.
