Britons aged 18-29 will be offered an alternative to the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine after dozens of people developed blood clots days after getting the jab.

And it comes as EU health ministers meet on the back of the EMA’s advice that blood clots are a ride side effect of the vaccine.

Kieran speaks to Gabriel Scally public health physician, and Professor of Public Health at University of Bristol about the issue.
