Today marks 6 months since the Dublin Riots in November 2023, when an incident on Parnell Street sparked what would become one of the darkest days for Dublin, and Ireland, in a long time…

The riots were triggered by a knife attack on three young children and a care assistant that took place at around 1:30pm that afternoon outside a primary school on Parnell Square.

A five-year-old girl who was seriously injured in the stabbing is still in hospital receiving treatment.

Kieran is on Parnell Street joined by Siobhan Kearney, a member of the public who jumped in and formed a human shield around the attacker, and by Caio Benicio, a Deliveroo driver who also jumped in to stop the attacker that day, who is now a Fianna Fail Candidate for Dublin North Inner City.

Later, he is joined by Lord Mayor of Dublin Daithí De Róiste, Noel Wardick, CEO from Dublin City Community Cooperative, Will Monaghan, Owner of One Society restaurant and Richard Guiney, CEO of Dublin Town all to reflect on that day.
