Reporter Josh Crosbie spoke to locals in Shannon, the hospitality industry and business representatives over the importance of Shannon Airport to the western region.

Hear from the Limerick Chamber of Commerce, The Savoy Group and Durty Nelly's pub, voicing their concerns if another airline is to pull out of Shannon Airport.

Those who could be most affected say it is vital that Aer Lingus continues its transatlantic routes from the Mid-West.
