A survey by the Irish Postmasters Union has shown overwhelmingly strong support for post offices.

91% believe they provide a valuable service to the local community, and 86% believe they should receive governmental support.

Ivan spoke to Senator Marie Louise O’Donnell, a known advocate for the post offices and Limerick Postmaster Tom O’Callaghan, who is also adviser to the Post Office Unit of the Public Banking Forum of Ireland.
