This week the Irish Foster Care Associations annual awareness campaign – ‘Fostering Fortnight’ was launched.

‘Fostering Fortnight’ is a campaign which aims to raise awareness and understanding of foster care here in Ireland and the importance foster care plays in the lives of almost 5,500 children in Ireland.

There is a large shortfall when it comes to people who get involved in foster care and IFCA and TUSLA are trying to get more people involved.

Anyone interested in getting involved in fostering can go to www.ifca.ie or they can 014585123
