Andrew McGinley, whose three children were killed by his mentally ill wife, has urged the Government to consult with him on legislative changes to include family in the psychiatric care of patients.

He spoke on Newstalk Breakfast this morning, and explained why he wants to be involved.

Una Butler, joined Kieran on the show, Una lost her husband John in November 2010, when he took his own life after killing his daughters, Ella and Zoe.
