Hate speech laws delayed - should they be?

The Minister for Justice Helen McEntee has confirmed she is not moving ahead with plans to introduce new hate speech laws saying that it will be dealt with at a later stage as “the incitement to hatred element does not have a consensus”.

Minister McEntee has said she is “...adamant that hate crime legislation will be enacted".
