She is a woman whose image was broadcast around the world in 2013, after she was caught trying to smuggle 11kg of cocaine from Lima to Madrid.

She faced a trial by media and from the Peruvian justice system, was jailed, and had to cope with surviving the country’s prison system in a language that she didn’t understand.

She has written a book about her experience, called ‘You’ll Never See Daylight Again’.
