A workshop offering consent classes at third level has announced they’re going to roll out their services to second level and sports clubs, such is the interest in the topic.

Smart Consent was developed by a team at NUIG’s School of Psychology, and saw their attendance levels rocket up by 600% last year.

They are now looking to apply to a younger audience which begs the question of what is the standard provision of sex eduation in secondary schools?

Mark Twohig teaches Relationships and Sexuality Education at Castleknock College in Dublin, and joined Sinead to discuss.
