Staycations are well and truly back, however, one part of the country that is not on the top of some people's list is Dublin.
Hotel rooms in the capital city are only at around 15% occupancy.
Hotel room occupancy in Dublin is at around 15% while Wexford is the most popular county for staycations at around 80%.

The Irish Hotels Federation says the busiest part of the country is Co Wexford with around 8 out of 10 rooms booked out.
