New measures to link rent increases to rates of inflation have been approved by the Government.

But, Eoin O'Broin, Sinn Fein spokesperson on housing and TD for Dublin Mid-West says what's actually needed is a three year ban on rent increases.

He joined us on the programme to explain why.
