A €1bn light rail system between Ballincollig and Mahon Point via the city centre, as well as eight new railway stations and 100 km of bus lanes, are contained in a radical new transport plan for Cork which will cost 3.5 billion euro.

Well, for more on the plan, Ivan was joined by Anne Graham, the CEO of the National Transport Authority and for the business communities reaction to the plan, by Laurence Owens, the CEO of the Cork Business Association.
