Covid cases in children are on the rise

New data from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre suggests that the reopening of schools has been a major factor in the recent plateau in Covid-19 cases.
Cases in children have increased by almost 20 per cent in the past month, while cases among the adult population have decreased by more than 10 per cent.
