Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said that ‘Amhrán na bhFiann’ should be taught in schools and pupils should learn the words of the national anthem.

He made the comments in Chicago, while visiting the US for St Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Do you know the National Anthem?  Should our kids know it by the time they leave school?

To discuss, Susan Keogh was joined by Senator Mark Daly, who has been central to public consultations on the issue of the national anthem for some time now.
