This week on Newstalk, we are celebrating and connecting with older people in our communities with ALONE, supported by Guinness. Drink responsibly, visit drinkaware.ie.

The charity helps some of the more vulnerable in our community who need support with an integrated system of Coordination of Support, Practical Supports, Befriending, phone services, Social Prescribing, Housing with Support, and assistive technology.

Kieran spoke to Thomas Howard about the positive impact Alone has made in his life from linking him with a social worker, to regular calls through their befriending service.
