The FAI has been fined €10,000 after fans booed ‘God Save the King’ before Ireland’s Nations League match against England at the Aviva Stadium in September. Will this action have any impact on spectators’ future behaviour? Are booing and other intimidation tactics just part of the package when it comes to sporting events?
