It's nearly a quarter of a century since the 1995 divorce referendum which only just passed. All these years on the government are seeking to change the time period married couples have lived apart, from at least four out of five years reduced to two. A new referendum will take place on the 24th of May the same day as the local and European Elections.
Henry McKean met people who have been through the long Irish divorce system and asked what has changed since 1995.
